KNITPUNKSHOP is a handmade accessories brand based in the UK which produces a colourful range of comfortable, cute and unique accessories including bucket hats, earrings, scrunchies, headbands, bags (and more coming soon!...) All products are hand-knitted or crocheted with time, precision and care to ensure the best possible quality!
ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Francesca! I decided to create KNITPUNKSHOP as a way of turning my passion into a potential business. I have been arty and creative my whole life, and the idea of making my favourite hobbies into something more has always been a goal of mine. I first learned how to knit at 9 years old when I starting going to a Monday after-school knitting club in Primary School, and I later learned how to crochet at 16 when I did a week of work experience at a fabrics & crafts store. Now, after a long time of hoping to one day start my own shop and sell my creations, I'm finally going for it!
If you know me from my @knitpunknails Instagram account (another one of my hobbies), then you can probably tell how I ended up choosing the name "knitpunkshop" for my business. When I first started by nails account in August 2018, I made sure to include something hobby/textiles related in the name, not only to include something about myself, but also so I could potentially have a similiar name to use for my brand in the future :)
